Jan Cynth is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy in Education major in Research and Evaluation at Silliman University. Jan now has almost 7 years of experience that spans various fields such as education, youth development, community service, information and communication technology. Because of this vast experience, he has been called on to speak at various capacities in different subject matters. Despite all these, education remains his passion.

Jan also attended different trainings such as, Tourism Promotion Services, Action Research, NCCA-Training for Teachers, Learning Management System, Microsoft Virtual Academy, Philippine Society of IT Educators (PSITE), and Quantitative Software Testing Research.
In the year 2020, Jan is connected to Silliman University under the new office, which is the Silliman Online University Learning (SOUL) as a faculty. Along with this, Jan has been a resource speaker, trainer and facilitator. He participated the European Higher Education Fair last October and had been a moderator on Dr. Mariano Lao Online Distance Teaching and Learning Training. Jan completed his course at Hongkong Baptist University in Teaching University Students last November 2020. He also presented a Research Paper on Managing Screen Time in Cebu Normal University during the 7th International Teacher Education Student Conference. He continues his Masters in Education major in Educational Management here in Silliman University.
Today, Jan continues to make strides in the education sector, working across all learning modalities for them overcome the transition towards teaching in the new normal. He is a mentor, coach, youth advocate and host in various activities.
